The 2nd lecture series of SAMHITA on Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) was conducted on 23rd September 2016.
The first guest speaker Prof. Raj Kannan (Founder President, Dry Needling Association India) conducted an orientation program and case assessment. He also demonstrated ‘dry needling’ which is a hitherto less known, yet novel treatment modality in selected cases of TMD.
The second speaker Dr. Reeju Jose emphasized the role and importance of the dentist in multidisciplinary management of TMD.
The CDE was a lively affair with interactive sessions in which about 60 delegates including postgraduate students, practitioners and physiotherapists participated.
